Dance marathon is a nationwide movement involving over 150 schools that raise money for local children's hospitals. Barrington High School will be holding it's seventh annual BHS Dance Marathon event on March 12, 2022!

          We are a student-run organization that was founded in September, 2015. Our goal this year is to raise $50,000 for the kids at Ann & Robert H. Lurie Children's Hospital in Chicago and we will be partnering with DePaul University's Demonthon to help us meet this goal. Leading up to the event we will have a series of "Dine & Donate" nights held by local restaurants, sell poinsettias for the holiday season,  have bake sales after school, raise money at local storefronts (shoutout ACE Hardware!), and numerous other events throughout the year. Our efforts culminate in a 4-hour event where the students will dance along with a DJ, listen to stories from our miracle families, learn a "morale" dance, have photo opportunities, and much more. We believe that every kid deserves the chance to have a happy and healthy childhood and together we can make this a reality. We cannot wait to bring the students and children together for a night of support and enjoyment FTC (For The Children)!
